1 What does a session with you feel like?
Sessions are relaxed and easygoing. Instructional posing throughout when needed, but there’s no pressure for everyone to pose perfectly and stand still. Especially with kids, I’ve found the best photos usually happen once everyone settles in, plays a little, and stops thinking too much about the camera.
2 Where do sessions usually take place?
Most sessions take place at Picario Studios, where we have a variety of backdrops and creative setups to bring your vision to life. Outdoor and on-location sessions are also available. We’ll choose the setting that best fits your style, vision, and the overall look you want to create.
3 How do you guide us during the session?
I keep direction very gentle and natural. Instead of stiff posing, I’ll usually guide you through small movements and interactions so the session feels comfortable and the photos still natural.
4 How do we book a session with you?
Visit the booking page or fill out the contact form with a few details of your project and any dates or locations you already have in mind. I’ll get back to you with availability, pricing, and the next steps from there.
FAQ
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE PHOTOS?
Proofs are typically available within 48 hours of your session. Delivery times vary depending on the scope and type of session booked. Your specific turnaround time will be provided with your session details. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.
RESCHEDULING & LATE ARRIVALS
Your first reschedule is complimentary when requested at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session. Reschedule requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice, as well as any additional reschedules, are subject to a $50 rescheduling fee. All rescheduled sessions are subject to availability.
Clients arriving late will have the remaining time of their originally scheduled session. Additional time is not guaranteed, and session fees will not be reduced or refunded due to late arrival. Significant lateness may require the session to be rescheduled and applicable fees may apply.
WHAT HAPPENS IF PICARIO NEEDS TO RESCHEDULE?
In the rare event that Picario Studios must reschedule due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, you’ll be offered an alternative available date. Any payments already made will transfer to the rescheduled session.
CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?
One guest is welcome to accompany you unless otherwise discussed. Additional guests should only attend if they are being photographed. Children should only attend if they’re participating in the session.
ARE RETAINERS REFUNDABLE?
All retainers are non-refundable and are required to reserve your date and time. Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the required retainer has been received.
CAN I BRING MY OWN PROPS OR IDEAS?
Absolutely. Inspiration photos, props, and creative ideas are welcome! Inspiration is used as a reference rather than a guarantee that another photographer’s image, pose, lighting, set, or editing style will be duplicated exactly.
